This role allows me to delve into intricate legal matters, dissecting the complexities of our interconnected world. As the Jean Monnet Chair ad personam EU and Global Governance, I bridge the gap between the European Union and global institutions. It’s a dynamic space where I explore the evolving landscape of governance. My fingerprints are also on the Institute for International Law and the Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies, both of which I founded. These centers serve as intellectual hubs, fostering collaboration and advancing research. Beyond academia, I wear the hat of an Administrator of the America Europe Fund, facilitating dialogue and cooperation across continents.
